Washington Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ)- Black Border

Aerial photography is permitted within the Washington ADIZ, but not within the FRZ unless by waiver.

Please note - Access to these areas requires approval by Secret Service,TSA, and other federal agencies, generally with law enforcement ride along.The waiver process takes approximately 45 days and permission is usually granted only for the most important government projects.
